Oooookay!

So I am writing a book( well multiple books) but anyhow, I have been trying to draw the main character and try's and fail have come and gone. But at last with a little help from my teacher, I have finally done it! I know the features are a little off, like the nose is a bit...well. You'll just have to see.

So here she is! I drew her on toned paper with graphite pencil, white charcoal and black charcoal pencils. Please tell me what you think...she is supposed to look kind of dirty but I don't think it worked very well.
